Fun Weekend.
Well… this weekend was fun and kind of productive.
Saturday we got groceries, got pets cleaned, ate dinner with Adam’s mom, had Austin over the rest of the weekend.
Sunday we went to Six Flags… rode 16 rides (actually 12 with 4 repeats) and got our Season Passes .
We finally crawled home late Sunday with light sun burns and other sundry alignments….watched some tv and just lazed around….
Good times all around.
ps — no pics b/c we broke Adam’s cell phone.
A long way for Cheap Hot Dogs.
Day started off great… I got tickets for Adam & I to see the Texas Rangers play…. for free.
Free is always good. 7:05 p.m. start time.
So we checked the weather … 20-40% chance of rain… in Texas, that means clear skies so we headed over…
We got to Arlington.
We noticed the sky really dark and the winds picking up.
I checked the weather via Iphone… Tornado Warning! A Line of “Red” radar weather heading our way….
We get to the ballpark and all #@$%@# breaks loose… game delayed one hour according to radio.
Checked Iphone again… its a small red with a small green line of rain on radar… We wait out red line in car then head swiftly to stadium in a light drizzle.
Find our seats (good seats) and just browse around….
Grab $1 hot dogs….
9:15 rolls around game is postponed til September….
So… we trade in our tickets for a mid July game against the Twins (with even better lower level seats).
Its never boring here.
Adam’s Birthday.
Well this weekend was Adam’s birthday…
Thursday, I sent him flowers.
Friday, his co-workers threw him a special birthday party.
Saturday, we went to Master grill and then had a lazy afternoon.
Sunday, we went and saw ‘UP’. Great movie… 3D a plus but probably my new favorite pixar movie.
We also found a workbench we had been looking for….
Pretty eventful weekend… couple of photos of Adams’ birthday in the Married Life section of our photos.
Mermorial Day Weekend
We went up to Tulsa this weekend to spend Memorial Day weekend with my parents.
We had lots of fun. Saturday afternoon Dad grilled some chicken and ribs…..We then followed it up by Chocolate cake made by request for Tabitha’s birthday (May 23) and Adam’s birthday (May 30).
Afterwards we went to Admiral Twin Drive In Theaters where we saw the newest Night of the Museum: Battle for the Smithsonian. The second feature was XMen Origins: Wolverine.
It was a great time… Sunday we all went to Dave and Busters…. more fun was had….
Course we had to come home not to long after that to recover from all the fun we had.
Pictures are in the “Married Life” folder of our photos. Thanks to my parents for a wonderful weekend.
