How bout them Mavs?  OK, I just jinxed them for tonight’s game… but 7 wins in a row?  This almost unheard of for them!!!

Well, in this time in two weeks from now we should be almost pulling into NOLA. *yeah*   It’s time to put some reservations down for good fun, food and favorite adult beverage!

And a special shot out to my parents for house sitting. :-)   Thanks for taking care of our “girls” for us.  We know they can be a handful

Well, this weekend was just a nice relaxing adventure around the house… I don’t think we accomplished *anything* this weekend which was our goal… so maybe we accomplished our goal of accomplishing nothing.

Saturday night we mixed Cosmos & karaoked… which was quite a deal of fun. Sunday was just the normal routine though.

Here’s to  this coming weekend, last weekend before anniversary!  May we accompish as much this coming weekend as we did the last!

While I say we usually wait to wind down on the weekends, this week had us busy busy and waiting for MONDAY to wind down.

Saturday we did a little shopping and then went to a Mavericks game against the Miami Heat.  It was a good game and I am glad the Mavericks managed to pull off the win.  And once again there was a “character” in our section… why he wasn’t thrown out, I still don’t know.  At least they moved him away from us!  <lol>  Drunk dudes are so dumb.

Sunday I worked from home for a little over 4 hours, bringing up changes to one of the critical applications I support.  I had hoped it would take me less time but it didn’t.  Oh well.  Aftter that, we rearrange the living room.  Adam had me promise not to do so again this year.  He is such a sweetie!

We celebrated the end of our Sunday by going to On the Border.  Now that was fun.

3 WEEKS to NEW ORLEANS!!!!!!

Goodbye dear Civic, my first new car.

I remember driving you off the lot with 99 miles on the odometer July  2001.  It was a hot summer in Lawton, Ok… The a.c. from my first car had just went out after faithfully getting me through college with just a few quirks (Ok, having the starter cable often coming undone during a road trip to/from college and having to get under the front of said car to find it and re-hook it up is more humorous now… it wasn’t so much then, espeically the few times I was wearing a skirt, under the front of my car at a small gas station in the middle of no where  with no vision of what was going on around me).

The 01 Civic saw me to visit to my parents house, a move to Ft. Sill, another move to Texarkana, more trips to the parents house, a move to Dallas, a  much needed divorce,  another couple of trips to Glenpool, meeting my wonderful husband, getting back and forth to various jobs and most importantly more trips to Glenpool.

So I say Sayonara and hope you treat your next family (my bro and sis-n-law) with as much reliablity and loyalty shown to me.

01 Civic

July 2001 (99 miles) - Feb 2010 (122,600 miles)

Well, seeing as how my brother wanted to buy the Civic off Adam & I, we decided to get a new vehicle… for me! hehehe…

We ended up getting a 2010 Chevrolet Equinox…. its very very nice.

Adam has PRK tomorrow. Wish him luck!!!!

We went to see the Mavericks vs the Thunder Jan 15th and had a blast.

Lower level (row R) seats 3&4!  Wow…. it was a great game to… Mavs won by 1 point in the final seconds the Thunder turned it up and had a chance to pull out a victory…

We also got an awesome parking spot not 1/4 mile from the front of the AAC… and we got the last spot in that lot!!
