We went to the Fort Worth Zoo today.  I think we both really enjoyed the trip.  We got there early but it was still pretty warm and we left before the afternoon heat and traffic.  It was nice spending even more time with Christy.  On the way home, we stopped at Cheddar’s and ate and for dessert, we shared a cookie monster.  This is a huge chocolate chip cookie that covers the whole plate and has ice cream.  I actually made it through DFW traffic with no problems.  Of course, it helps when you have a GPS system.  A couple of months later, I would get a tomtom.  Still hasn’t improved my driving but I don’t seem to get lost near as quickly as before :)
