We went and seen Eddie Izzard in Dallas on this date.  He is a famous comedian and also stars in a television show.  He was performing at the Dallas Majestic.  We took my car to the DART rail center just under the Bush Turnpike.  We rode the train to Dallas, within a couple of blocks of the Majestic.  It was a fantastic show and we had pretty good seats.  The place was pretty packed.  When we arrived back at the station and parking lot, we noticed that my car had been broken into.  Someone had busted my driver side window and took a satellite radio. I was in complete shock.  Christy said I handled it really well.  I don’t know about that.  She told me that she felt bad and apologized but as I told her, it wasn’t her fault.  I shouldn’t have left the radio where it could be seen and I shouldn’t have parked under an overpass.  What did upset me is that it took two hours for Plano and Richardson police to figure out who had jurisdiction.  An officer finally came out and took a report and we were on our way.  I had a doctor’s appointment the next morning and already scheduled the day off but I really felt bad for Christy and apologized, knowing she had to work the next day.  She was really supportive during this time.
