A week or two prior to this date, we went to Christy’s parents for the weekend.  I really enjoyed the experience and thank you Christy and your parents for inviting me along.  There is another post regarding this weekend but later that Saturday night, we played Nintendo Wii.  This was my first time playing and it definitely showed.  Christy and I both weren’t so good at Mario Kart.  We didn’t fare much better in bowling.  Of course who does when you’re playing against her mom?  We had talked about getting a wii sometime in the future but a wonderful opportunity presented itself on May 31.  Christy found a craigslist ad that had a wii for sale reasonably priced.  Within an hour, the wii was ours.  Later that evening, we even landed Mario Kart from a craigslist ad as well.  We have spent countless hours playing the game but for whatever reason or purely by luck, Christy usually gets the upper hand.  We won’t talk about rainbow road now will we dear?  :)  Didn’t think so.  We even went to a nice restaurant, Papadeaux’s in Richardson.  It was my first time eating shrimp and crawfish.  Our weekends are usually spent grocery shopping, looking for wedding things, cleaning, or going out to an event or festival.
