Christy and her parents invited me to spend the weekend with them in Oklahoma.  I was off today (bad weather day not used) from school so I was able to get things ready.  When Christy came in, we packed things in the car and carefully loaded Waffles in the back.  We arrived at her parents home later that evening/night.  We had Chinese food before settling in and talking with her parents, brother, and sister in law.  I began to feel more at ease around her family during this trip.  Of course, I was warned that if I did play shy turtle, I would be a goner :)
