I have mentioned Christy’s parents before but feel like they truly deserve their own entry/blog. The first time I met them, I was somewhat shy and reserved (as I usually am). We met her parents for lunch and a tour of Christy’s old college. We later visited her parents at their home in Oklahoma and some of those details are in earlier blogs. They are both middle school teachers so I can somewhat relate to them with the education/teaching similarity. Christy’s parents are really cool. I told Christy that one time and she looked at me like I was crazy. What child is going to admit their parents are cool anyway? This past Thanksgiving break, Christy’s parents came down and we spent the time together. I always enjoy spending time with them. My mom and brothers came over for Thanksgiving and it was really nice to be able to spend Thanksgiving with my two families. They all mean a lot to me. Christy and her mom went shopping even before the break of dawn on Friday and her dad and I hung out and even managed to do some handyman and honey-do things around the house. Terry and Glenda, I want to thank both of you for coming down and spending the Thanksgiving break with us. Terry, thanks for helping me with things around the house, the ‘suggestion’ for the photo Christy tried to take, and for your guidance and support. I definitely agree with you that you were shy and reserved and someone (starts with G and ends with a) corrupted you, hehehehe. I always enjoy spending time and talking with you. Glenda, where do I start? Don’t say Choctaw! I thank you for your support and love. You have a great sense of humor (let’s not talk wii bowling) and I respect the both of you greatly. You have raised a great daughter and even though it is a few days past Thanksgiving, I am very thankful to have you two in my life. I love my mom and dad very much. They have taught me so much over the years and I am very thankful for that. I am also very thankful that I have you two as parents-to-be. My heart is completely Christy’s but I love ya guys very much.
