Can you believe this is the last day of November? The days are flying by and so has this Thanksgiving Break. It was very nice. Growing up, Thanksgiving was truly a time to be thankful for what you have in life. My grandmother was the head of the Thanksgiving feasts and I can remember those days very fondly. There isn’t a day that passes by that I don’t think of her and my dad but know they are in a better place now. I am very thankful for all the times and moments that will be forever etched into my mind. Some were comical (at my expense usually) and some were serious. Through it all, family was family. Last Thanksgiving was difficult for us as was last Christmas but through it all, we continue to have our strong faith and as my mom always said that her grandmother said to her, The Good Lord isn’t going to put any more on you than what you can handle. This Thanksgiving was special in so many ways. I got to spend it with Christy who is absolutely the best. I say she is a blessing to me all the time and she certainly is. What more can I say? Oh wait, I can say more, but this post is getting long. To be continued…..(you’ll see)
