Well ya’ll this has been quite a weekend.
Saturday we cleaned house b/c we knew we would get nothing done Sunday.
Sunday I cooked a nice early dinner and we had Adam’s mama over for dinner and then off to our Rod Stewart concert.
We were in the very last row but was still good seats … the old man can still move… We’ve posted pictures in the “Married Life” folder in the photos section.
We got home late Sunday night/Monday morning…. and then was awaken with a Monday morning phone called that Adam’s Uncle Harold had died that weekend… Viewing Monday night, Funderal 12:30 Tuesday.
It was quickly decided to just book a room over in Euless for Monday night b/c traffic & the drive time would be a killer on anyone…. but we also had to worry bout Adam’s ESL test on Wednesday…
Adam, Austin (adam’s younger bro), Delores (Adam’s mama) and I went to Colleyville for the viewing and then checked into our hotel for the eveing….
The funeral was nice and done well.
We finally arrived back at the house around 4:00 Tuesday afternoon… Very tired.. and just crashed.
