Texas Rangers and All you can Eat

Posted June 8th, 2008 by Adam Wallace

Christy got tickets for us and my younger brother Austin to go to the Texas Rangers game against the Tampa Bay Rays.  This was a Sunday afternoon/early evening game and the weather was really, really hot.  Our seats were in the all you can eat section.  We had seats in the middle level, around the third base foul pole.  They were pretty good seats.  We could have two items at a time for free.  The items were popcorn, nachos, hot dogs, and soda.  For some reason, water wasn’t included but they would give you a cup of ice and tell you where the nearest water fountain was.  The Rangers won the game.  It was during the early part of the game that I got myself in trouble (again) and realized that Christy and Austin were already forming an alliance, one that I had to break.  What happened to family loyalty?

Umm… the thing I remember most about this day was that I was already sunburned before the game even started. Ouch!
