Uh, oh… in the panic that has abscond our lives for the past two weeks, I missed last weeks update.

For that I am truly sorry.

So here it is 2 weeks in Review.

Nov 5 I started my black Friday shopping by scoring a couple of Blu Rays and a good laptop computer. So it started out as a really good day… But came home to find Jury Summons for Dec 6. Really? I’ll be in my 38thweek if I hadn’t had baby yet. But I managed to beg out of it for now with an excuse. So that was nice.

Also, talked Adam into picking up the Xbox Kinect system. I have to say it’s been fun watching him play it.. when I am not so un-cordinated I’ll probably give it a try.

That weekend was rather lazy as I pulled a couple of muscles in my back and was good for nothing (more so than usual…). Adam was a sweetheart and made sure I did not do anything worse.

Nov 9 I had my 34 Week appointment (@ 34W,2D) with the other doctor in the practice, Dr. Norton. It was the same standard appointment, I’ve had the last couple of times… BP was creeping back up but nothing too bad….considering all the left over Halloween candy, it’s a wonder it wasn’t higher!!!

The next day I got a mommy hair cut… got it short again so it’ll be easier to maintain with the sleepless nights ahead.

This past weekend had us cleaning house, putting up our Christmas tree, wrapped the Christmas gifts and put them under the tree.

Now we are starting to get things ready for the final countdown. Hospital bags are officially packed as of last night. The car seat bases have been installed and a few rooms modified for keeping baby stuff around. I believe all the clothes have been washed, a few still to put away (tonight’s task). Now we just have a little bit more cleaning to do and then….. wait for Pax.

Oh! And somewhere in all that mess, we went and saw Unstoppable at the theaters. It was a rather good movie.

Oh and yes, We already have our Harry Potter tickets for Friday (Studio Movie Grill and Plano)…. and the next morning is my work’s Friends and Family day… so I foresee a nap in my Saturday afternoon.

VI-Ola, sometimes mispronounced VE-ola by friends & family and usually just shortened to Miss V to contain the confusion, passed away yesterday afternoon at the age of 10 years old.

She was a good puppy. Always happy to see you and just wanted to love anyone she knew.

She lived with me in 5 different houses in 4 different cities.. She was never hard to get along with and minded very well.

She had come down sick this past few weeks and we had made the choice to take her to the Vet this weekend because with everything we were trying, she was not getting better. It was my fear that if we took her in, we would not come back home with her. In her last act of true devotion, she made the decision for us that we were so dreading.

Rest in Peace Miss V. It is a comfort to know you are no longer in any pain and you’ll always be remember as the loving pup u remained.
